“Mark Grove is the very best. His skills as a martial artist and fight arranger are inspirational, but he is also well versed in all forms of stunt work and special effects, which makes him the perfect mentor for up and coming action performers and actors. He is also a writer and director who specializes in action genre filmmaking, which makes him a great resource for breaking into this highly competitive field. My advice...if you get an opportunity to train with him...Don’t pass it up.”

Theatrical fighting is an art, plain and simple. These skills must be performed while working in tune with one or more cameras and students must learn to effectively hit specified marks, interact with set pieces, utilize stunt and special effects equipment, work with props, and many other random factors that are present in any given scene.
Beyond choreography, students will also be exposed to break falls, linear and elevated falls, and fundamental acrobatics.

ARMED FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY SATURDAY MORNING - 10:00am to 11:30am / $100.00 a month
Integrating weapons into fight choreography utilizes all the skills learned in unarmed choreography, but armed combat also require a solid knowledge weapon dynamics and a refined understanding of distancing and timing. Primary weapons used include various types of sword, staff, club, knife, and chain, but we often challenge students with more exotic weapons. YOUNG ACTION STARS SUNDAY AFTERNOON - 1:00pm to 2:00pm / $100.00 a month

PRACTICAL FX SEMINARS
Some people love to be behind the scenes but still be a part of the visual magic that appears on-screen. If that is who you are, then these practical effects seminars are perfect for you. At random times throughout the year we hold both single and multi-day sessions that are focused on creating special elements for our upcoming projects produced by our sister company, Fusion Factory Films. When we do that, we open it up to students who would like to learn first hand as we make specialized set pieces, prosthetic make up, mold and cast props, learn to safely employ theatrical firearms, or design and create creatures that will actually be seen on-screen. Students can even earn a credit in our films if their work is utilized. Check out the links on our SIGN UP page to be added to a special email list based on your personal interest.
